Captain Cooks Promo Code
No code to hunt for: the Canadian welcome offer starts with a C$5 first deposit. Here is how it works and what it really costs to play through.
Do you need a Captain Cooks promo code?
No. Captain Cooks Casino does not publish a promo code and does not ask for one. The welcome offer is tied to your first deposit of at least C$5, claimed within 7 days, and the later deposit bonuses follow the same account.

People search for a Captain Cooks promo code because most casinos hide their best deal behind one. Here the situation is simpler. The casino's own terms say that only promotions specifically advertised on its website will be honoured, and the offer on that website has no code field attached to it. If a page promises a secret code, treat it with caution, because nothing on the official site backs it up.
What you do get is a five-step ladder. The first step is 100 chances to win C$1 million, played as spins on Mega Money Wheel at C$0.10 per spin. After that come four matched deposits worth up to C$475 in total. The rest of this page explains the fine print in plain words: how much you must wager, which games help, what the offer is worth in real dollars and how to claim it without losing it by accident.
One thing the casino does not spell out is whether each bonus lands in your balance automatically after the deposit. We do not claim it either way. After each deposit, look at your bonus balance in the account and ask live chat if it does not show what you expected; chat runs 24/7.
Which games count towards wagering
Captain Cooks sets contribution by game type. Slots count 100%. Table games, parlour games, live casino games and every other game type count 2%. A few titles, such as All Aces Video Poker and Flippin' Awesome Shields of Asgard, count 0%, and using a double-up feature counts 0% as well.
In practice, slots are the tool for clearing a bonus. Every C$1 you stake on a slot moves your wagering forward by C$1. Every C$1 on blackjack, roulette or a live table moves it forward by two cents. If you like live dealers, the live casino page explains what is on offer, but plan to play those tables with your own balance rather than with a bonus.
Slots that count 100%
Play styles the terms warn about
The terms list several patterns as irregular play while a bonus is open. The one that catches people most is a single bet of 25% or more of the bonus. On a C$100 bonus that means any one bet from C$25 up, a line few casual players approach. The list also names even-money bets on roulette, Sic Bo and craps, hedge betting and using autoplay to clear wagering. Keep bets small and manual and you stay inside all of them.
Wagering in plain words
Wagering (also called play-through or rollover) is the amount you must bet before bonus money, and anything won from it, can be treated as withdrawable cash. It is expressed as a multiplier. A C$100 bonus with 200x wagering means C$20,000 of total bets on games that count at full value. You are not paying that money; you are cycling it through spins, and most of it comes back as wins that you bet again.
- 200xwagering on deposit bonuses 1-2
- 30xwagering from the 3rd deposit
- 100%slots contribution
- 2%tables and live contribution
The two multipliers are a real difference in the ladder. The first and second deposit bonuses carry 200x, which is heavy. From the third deposit the multiplier drops to 30x, which is much easier to clear. That makes the later steps the friendlier ones in terms of effort, even though the first step is the one with the headline prize chance.
What the numbers do not tell you
The multiplier is only half of the workload. The other half is the contribution rate of the game you play, covered in the next section. A 200x requirement on slots is a long session. The same requirement on blackjack, where only 2% of each bet counts, is not realistic for a normal budget.
Winnings from the 100 spins on Mega Money Wheel are credited as bonus funds, not cash. They follow the wagering of the first deposit bonus. Only the top prize of that wheel, if credited as a bonus, can be converted to cash through Support, according to the terms.
Withdrawals reset the bonus
If you withdraw while a bonus is active, the bonus balance is reset to zero. Finish the play-through first if you want to keep the bonus funds.
Real value of the bonus
A bonus with wagering has a cost, and you can estimate it. Every spin loses a small share of the stake on average, equal to 100% minus the game's RTP. Multiply that share by the total you must wager and you get the expected cost of clearing the bonus. Compare it to the bonus itself and you see what is likely left.
The calculator below does exactly this. Enter the bonus amount, the multiplier, the RTP of the game and the game type. It shows the total to wager, the expected house edge cost and the expected bonus left. It assumes the wagering applies to the bonus amount only; check the terms for how your specific bonus is calculated.
Wagering calculator
Test any step of the ladder. Slots count 100% and tables and live count 2%.

- -Expected house edge cost
- -Expected bonus left
An estimate on averages, not a promise. Real sessions swing well above and below it. RTP is set by the game; look it up in the game info panel.
Worked examples
First or second deposit bonus, slot at 96% RTP. A C$100 bonus at 200x means C$20,000 wagered. The house edge is 4%, so the expected cost is C$800, more than the bonus. On average you would not come out ahead. Variance is the reason people still win: one good run on a high-volatility slot can lift the balance far past the average.
Same bonus, slot at 99% RTP. The expected cost drops to C$200. It still exceeds the C$100 bonus, which shows how heavy 200x is whatever you play.
Third deposit, slot at 96% RTP. The 50% match goes up to C$150, so the biggest bonus is C$150. At 30x that is C$4,500 wagered with an expected cost of C$180. Close to break-even, and with a 99% RTP game the cost falls to C$45, leaving about C$105 of expected value.
Fifth deposit, C$100 bonus at 30x. C$3,000 wagered. At 96% RTP the expected cost is C$120. Near break-even again, with plenty of variance either way.
Tables. A C$100 bonus at 30x on blackjack would need C$150,000 of bets because only 2% of each bet counts. At 200x it climbs to C$1,000,000. These numbers are why tables are for fun, not for clearing bonuses.
Read the bonus as extra playing time with a small chance of a lasting win, not as free cash.
That is the honest way to value this offer. The C$5 entry is cheap, the spins are a real chance at a big prize, and the matched deposits give more playing time. Just do not budget on the bonus turning into withdrawable cash.
How to get the offer
Because there is no code, the whole process is the registration and the first deposit. Do it in this order so nothing is missed.
Register. Open the sign-up guide or go straight to the casino and create an account. Your amounts show in dollars; they are Canadian dollars for this guide.
Deposit C$5 or more. The minimum first deposit is C$5. The offer must be claimed with this first deposit within 7 days.
Play the 100 chances. The spins run on Mega Money Wheel at C$0.10 per spin. Winnings are bonus funds.
Continue the ladder. Deposits two to five bring matches up to C$100, C$150, C$125 and C$100. Only the first five deposits count.
Each deposit is counted individually. If you skip the first deposit window or decide to deposit later, you are no longer in the same position, so decide on day one. When you are ready, you can open the casino here and start with the C$5 step.
More slots to spread your wagering
The deadline that matters after that is 60 days. Unused promotional bonuses are forfeited after 60 days from registration, so do not collect bonuses you do not plan to play. The bonuses page sets each step out in more detail.
Comparing the five deposit steps
The five steps look alike on a banner but behave differently. Here is how they compare against each other, based on the published ladder and the wagering rules.
- Step 1: lowest entry
C$5 buys 100 chances at C$0.10 each. The cheapest way in, and the only step with a C$1 million prize chance. 200x applies to the bonus.
- Step 2: biggest wagering load
A 100% match up to C$100 sounds generous, but 200x makes it the hardest bonus to clear on this list.
- Step 3: largest bonus
50% up to C$150 is the biggest single bonus, and 30x makes it far lighter to clear than step 2.
- Steps 4 and 5: lighter and smaller
25% up to C$125 and then 100% up to C$100, both at 30x. Step 5 gives the best ratio of bonus to deposit.
Taking the five together, the total of the four matches is up to C$475. The heavy wagering sits on the first two steps; the last three cost much less effort per dollar. A sensible plan is to keep early deposits small and larger ones for the 30x steps, but the choice depends on your budget and nobody should deposit more than they are comfortable losing.
Slots against tables
The other comparison that matters is game type. The table shows what a C$100 bonus demands in total bets depending on where you play.
| Game type | Counts | At 200x | At 30x |
|---|---|---|---|
| Slots | 100% | C$20,000 | C$3,000 |
| Tables | 2% | C$1,000,000 | C$150,000 |
| Live games | 2% | C$1,000,000 | C$150,000 |

Offers can change, so confirm the figures on the casino's website before you deposit. Wagering applies on bonus funds, including winnings from the 100 spins. Only the first five deposits count towards the ladder, and the casino also runs other promotions, such as Rewards Riches and Casino Rewards loyalty levels, which are separate from this welcome offer.

Captain Cooks promo code FAQ
Is there a Captain Cooks promo code for Canada?
No code is published on the casino's own site, and none is needed. The welcome offer comes with your first deposit of at least C$5, made within 7 days of the offer being available to you. Our bonuses page lists the full ladder.
Where do I type a bonus code?
There is nothing to type. The terms say only promotions advertised on the casino's own website are honoured, so a code from a third-party page should not be trusted. If a deposit screen ever shows a code field, follow what the casino itself says there.
What is the minimum deposit to claim the offer?
C$5. That first deposit unlocks 100 chances to win C$1 million, played as spins on Mega Money Wheel at C$0.10 per spin. Deposits two to five are separate steps with their own matches.
Are the free spin winnings cash?
No. Winnings from the 100 spins are credited as bonus funds, so they carry the same wagering as the first deposit bonus until they are played through.
How much do I have to wager?
200x on the first and second deposit bonus and 30x from the third deposit onward. Slots count 100% and tables and live games count 2%, so the game you pick changes the real workload a lot.
Can I cash out in the middle of wagering?
You can request a withdrawal, but the terms say a withdrawal resets the bonus balance to zero. If you want to keep the bonus, finish the wagering first.
What happens if I do not use a bonus?
Unused promotional bonuses are forfeited 60 days after registration. The first-deposit offer also has its own 7-day claim window.
Why can a bonus be removed after a big bet?
The terms treat a single bet of 25% or more of the bonus as irregular play while wagering is open. Keep every bet well under that share of your bonus balance.
