Is there a Mega Moolah 2?
No. As of 9 October 2026 there is no game called Mega Moolah 2, and no sequel or release date has been announced. The brand keeps growing through spin-offs that share the same jackpot, and several of them are playable at Captain Cooks Casino.
Searches for "mega moolah 2" and "mega moolah sequel" are common because the original slot is so famous. People assume a game that big must have a numbered follow-up. Our checks on 9 October 2026 found nothing under that name, and the Casino Rewards jackpot page, which covers Captain Cooks, lists no such title either.
If you landed here looking for a bigger, newer Mega Moolah, the next sections show what actually exists. Below are some of the progressive and jackpot-style slots in the Captain Cooks lobby.

Why there is no numbered sequel
Mega Moolah launched in 2006 from Microgaming, and today Games Global distributes it. The slot itself matters less than the jackpot behind it. Players do not come for the safari reels; they come for the four tiers - Mini, Minor, Major and Mega - and the chance that the Mega pot, which seeds at C$1,000,000, drops on any spin.
That changes how the brand develops. A numbered sequel would split the audience and the prize pool. A spin-off keeps one shared network jackpot and simply changes the slot wrapped around it: a new theme, new features, the same wheel at the end. So the brand grew sideways, with titles such as Atlantean Treasures: Mega Moolah, Immortal Romance Mega Moolah and Thunderstruck II Mega Moolah, rather than upwards with a "2".
A bigger pool is the sequel. The slot around it is just the packaging.
The network history shows why that works. A record of £13.2 million was paid in 2015, and in 2021 a win of €19.4 million on Absolootly Mad: Mega Moolah beat it. Both came from the shared jackpot, not from a new numbered game. Those are network figures from the past, not a promise about any spin you make.
Welcome offer is not on Mega Moolah
The Captain Cooks welcome offer of 100 chances to win C$1 million for a C$5 first deposit runs on Mega Money Wheel at C$0.10 a spin. It does not apply to Mega Moolah. Details are on the bonuses page.
What exists instead
Casino Rewards, the group behind Captain Cooks, lists seven progressive jackpots. Four of them belong to the Mega Moolah family:
- Mega Moolah - the original 2006 slot.
- Atlantean Treasures: Mega Moolah - an underwater adventure with the same jackpot.
- Immortal Romance Mega Moolah - the vampire-themed favourite with the jackpot added.
- Thunderstruck II Mega Moolah - Norse gods and the same four tiers.
Other group jackpots
The other three on the Casino Rewards list are not Mega Moolah games, but they are still progressive prizes: Mega Vault Millionaire, Treasure Nile and Cash Splash. If you only want a big pot and do not mind the brand, these are fair alternatives.
The lobby also holds other Mega Moolah-branded slots, for example Mega Moolah Lucky Bells, Book of Mega Moolah and Break Da Bank Again Mega Moolah. Availability can change, so open the lobby to see the current list. Some are offered as slots rather than group progressives, so check each game card for its jackpot details.
Mega Moolah titles side by side
These four share a jackpot, so the real difference is the slot around it. This table compares the Mega Moolah titles with each other, not with other casinos.
| Title | Theme | Jackpot tiers | Shared |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mega Moolah | Safari | Four | Network pot |
| Atlantean Treasures | Atlantis | Four | Network pot |
| Immortal Romance | Vampires | Four | Network pot |
| Thunderstruck II | Norse gods | Four | Network pot |

All four are tied to the same Mini, Minor, Major and Mega structure, so picking a title is about taste. Want the classic? Pick the original. Prefer a story-driven slot? Immortal Romance or Thunderstruck II bring familiar bonus features, with the jackpot on top. We do not publish an RTP for any of them here; the figure shown in each game's info panel is the one to trust.
Playing jackpots in Canada
Captain Cooks Casino is licensed by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission, and it carries the eCOGRA Safe & Fair seal. Amounts show in C$ even though the account displays "$". Players in Canada should treat a progressive as a lottery ticket with a slot attached.
More slots to try
- Set a budget before you spin and stop when it is spent. A jackpot is never due.
- Slots count 100% towards wagering, but the 200x requirement on deposits one and two is heavy. Use the wagering calculator before you use bonus funds on a jackpot.
- Check the game card for the stake needed to be eligible for the jackpot tiers.
- The 24/7 live chat can confirm which jackpot titles are open to your account.
New to the site? The welcome offer is the simplest start: get 100 chances for C$5. Then come back to the jackpot titles once your first deposit is in.
If gambling stops being fun, use the account limits and get help from ConnexOntario or your province's helpline. Players must be of legal age in their province.
