What this site covers
This is an English-language guide to Captain Cooks Casino for players in Canada. It explains the welcome offer, the wagering rules, the games and the account steps in plain words, so you can decide before you deposit anything.
Prices and bonuses are shown in Canadian dollars, and the pages are built around the questions a new player actually asks. Each section has its own page.
- Offers
The bonuses page and the promo code page cover the C$5 first deposit, the four match bonuses and the 200x and 30x wagering.
- Games
Table and live play are covered on the blackjack and live casino pages, jackpot slots on the Mega Moolah page.
- Account
The sign-up and login pages walk through registration and access.
- Domains
The captain-cooks.com page explains which web addresses belong to the casino and which do not.
Who writes this guide
James Mitchell, Senior Casino Analyst, writes and reviews every page on this site. He reviews Captain Cooks Casino from the point of view of a player in Canada, and that is the only angle the site takes.
- Reads the casino's terms and conditions and compares each offer on the page with the wording there.
- Checks the licence and fairness claims against the public regulator and auditor pages.
- Returns to published pages to re-check them and changes the text when the casino changes its terms.
The site does not publish a personal profile beyond this role. What matters for a reader is the method, and it is described below so you can repeat any check yourself.
How we check facts
Every claim about the casino has to trace back to a primary source. Forum posts, rumours and copied text from other sites are not used as evidence.
Primary sources
- The casino itself. Its website at captaincooks.casino and its published terms and conditions, which set the real wagering, deposit and bonus rules.
- Kahnawake Gaming Commission. The permit-holder list shows which operator holds the permit for the casino's web address.
- eCOGRA. The Safe & Fair certificate page, linked from the casino footer, shows the review period of the seal.
- Game studios. Pragmatic Play and Games Global pages for anything about their games.
When a fact cannot be confirmed
If a detail is not published, such as table limits or the RTP of a specific game, the page leaves it out or points you to the game info screen. Guessing a number is worse than saying it is not known.
The same goes for the downsides. When a bonus has a high wagering requirement, or table and live games count only 2% towards it, the page says so next to the offer, not in a footnote. You can see the full picture on the bonuses page.
What the dates mean
The byline at the bottom of every page shows three dates. Each one has a fixed meaning.
- Published
The day the page first went live. It never changes.
- Updated
The last day the content of the page really changed, for example a new term or a corrected figure.
- Checked
The last day the facts on the page were verified against the sources again, even if nothing needed to change.
So a page can show a recent "Checked" date and an older "Updated" date. That means it was re-verified and still holds.
Responsible gambling in Canada
Gambling is entertainment, not income. The legal age is 18+ or 19+ depending on your province, so check the rule where you live before you register.

Only play with money you can afford to lose, set a deposit amount before you start, and read the terms of any bonus first. The sign-up page lists what to prepare before you open an account.
